Irene Hannon hits another one out of the park! Thin Ice is a riveting book that keeps you on the edge of your seat and makes it hard to put the book down. I felt along with Christy as her world was turned upside down, time after time, with each revelation. Even though I haven’t been in a similar situation, I could still feel along with the guilt and fear Lance carried from the events that happened in his past. I enjoyed the figure skating aspect of Christy’s character and how it played into the plot. I used to figure skate, although not competitively, it immediately made me connect with Christy. This book gets your heart racing while empathizing with the characters.
